CICOPA Asia-Pacific event

CICOPA is organizing an event to promote cooperatives in the Asia-Pacific region.
The event in collaboration with the Japan Workers’ Cooperative Union (JWCU) will bring together cooperative organizations affiliating and promoting cooperatives active in the industry and service sectors, from the Asia and Pacific region that are willing to strengthen synergies and collaboration among them.
The event will delve into what the different models of worker cooperatives in the Asia Pacific Region share, and how they can support each other to face common challenges in providing decent work, realizing social justice, and contributing to the sustainable development of local communities.
Event: Strengthening synergies and collaboration among cooperatives in industry and services in the Asia and Pacific region.
Time and date: 29 November 2021, 11:00 (KST).
Place: Seoul, Korea, and online
It will be possible to attend the meeting in person and online.
Interpretation will be provided in English, Spanish, French, Korean, and Japanese, in person, and online.
This event is organized in the framework of the ICA 33rd World Cooperative Congress “Deepening our Cooperative Identity”. CICOPA President and members will also intervene in the various sessions and panels organized during the Congress held from 1-3 December.
